The Beck Flavors management team announced this week the addition of two world class chefs and a mixologist to their culinary team. The husband and wife team of Nicholas and Leslie Newsam Goellner join the Beck culinary team as they are set to open their new restaurant, The Antler Room, in Kansas City, Missouri this October.
“We’re excited to add Nick and Leslie to our team. Nick will work with our innovation team and customers to help them create world class recipes and top trending finished food products that utilize our flavors. Leslie’s on the cutting edge of mixology and alcohol beverage trends. Her deep knowledge and experience will only heighten our offerings to our alcohol beverage customer base,” said Matt Carr, vice president and partner at Beck Flavors.
The third addition to the culinary team is Natasha Goellner, founder of Natasha’s Mulberry and Mott in Kansas City. Her pastries are featured in both Williams-Sonoma and Dean and Deluca catalogs. “Natasha’s enthusiasm to work with our innovation team and flavors was apparent from day one. We’re excited to work with Tasha to continue to provide the baking and finished food product industries with excellent flavors and work to develop new, trending concepts as well,” said Carr.
Not only will the Goellners be an internal resource for the Beck Flavors innovation team to work on flavors and finished applications, but they will be intricately involved in customer meetings and product development.
